Tallinn City Archives, A.d. 26. Accountbook of the Town Council 1463-1507,

Medieval town scribes of Tallinn drew different pictures
on the margins of their account books to draw attention
to special incomes or expenses of the town. Three preserved
account books from the years 1432 to 1533 contain about 400
illustrations, out of which a representative selection is
reproduced on posters, with an added commentary on the
styles of different scribes and the functions of these illustrations.
