Angkor

The Royal Angkor Foundation and the APSARA organization (Cambodian State Organization for Angkor) started a new project on the heritage complex of Koh Ker. During the last two months, Hungarian archaeologists, architects, environmental specialists, and community development experts studied one of the most important sites of the Khmer civilization with other international teams. The lecture will present the first results of the archaeological and architectural studies of the temples and other monuments of the area, which was the capital of the Khmer kingdom in the first half of the tenth century.
