In addition to the variety of themes which we offer in our instruction and supervision, the Departments have developed four lines of possible specialization: Religious Studies, Urban History, Cultural Heritage Study and Policy, and Environmental and Landscape History. These specializations, offered in cooperation with the Department of History, do not lead to a special degree but they will be marked in the transcript and on the diploma. They allow for an additional focus in these study fields, but require enrolling in a large proportion of the elective classes related to these specializations among the current offerings of the two departments. In addition, there will be one 2-credit methodology class in the specialization each term, and the MA thesis must to be about a topic related to the area of the specialization.
